Statistics on the Prosecution of Human Trafficking cases

In 2022, the District Prosecutor's Office handled human trafficking cases, and the investigation concluded 297 cases involving 616 people, of which 325 people were prosecuted, a prosecution rate of 52.8%; 47 people were detained during the investigation. In 2022, the court judged that 72 people were guilty and transferred to the procurator’s office for execution. Among them, 5.6% were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of less than six months, 8.3% were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of more than six months to less than one year, and 29.2% were sentenced to more than one year to less than two years, 56.9% were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of more than two years.
