"2024 Mutual Legal Assistance International Conference,"“2024 International Seminar on National Security and Trade Secrets,” and their associated activities

To combat cross-border fraud, money laundering, and other transnational crimes, and to enhance the efficiency of international cooperation, this department organized "2024 Mutual Legal Assistance International Conference,"“2024 International Seminar on National Security and Trade Secrets,” and their associated activities. These conferences addressed critical issues such as national security, trade secrets, artificial intelligence, and asset recovery, and how to facilitate and proceed international cooperation and mutual legal assistance in resolving relevant issues. We have invited trial attorneys (prosecutors), director general, deputy to the prosecutor general, chief head prosecutor, attorney, and coordinators from the United States, Canada, Estonia, Germany, and the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (EUROJUST) to share their legal systems and practical experiences. These events have successfully facilitated exchanges and interactions between foreign legal practitioners and our prosecutors, law enforcement, and judicial personnel, continuously expanding international judicial cooperation relationships with other jurisdictions and enhancing Taiwan's visibility on the international stage.
