MOJ Delegation Visits U.S. DOJ and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies to Strengthen Cooperation on Key Mutual Legal Assistance Issues

This Ministry led by Deputy Minister Huang, together with Deputy Director-General Adam Wu of the Department of International and Cross-Strait Legal Affairs MOJ, Chief Prosecutor Yi-Wen Wang of the Yilan District Prosecutors Office, Head Prosecutor Yen-Chen Tsai of the Department of Prosecutorial Affairs, and, Prosecutor Julie Pei-Ju Wang of the Department of International and Cross-Strait Legal Affairs, paid an official visit to the United States from December 8 to 10, 2025.
During the visit, the delegation met with the U.S. Department of Justice, the Criminal Investigation of the Internal Revenue Service of the Department of the Treasury, the Cyber Crime Center of Homeland Security Investigations under the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other relevant agencies, to hold exchanges and discussions on significant mutual legal assistance cases and key issues, with a view to further deepening bilateral cooperation.
