Director of Polish Office in Taipei, Janusz Bilski visits the Ministry of Justice to Enhance Taiwan-Poland Judicial Cooperation

On Sep 17, 2025, Director of Polish Office in Taipei, Janusz Bilski, paid a visit to Taiwan’s Ministry of Justice, where he was received by the Minister in person.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the close and smooth cooperation between Taiwan and Poland in the field of international mutual legal assistance. The Minister expressed appreciation for Poland’s support, in particular its assistance in completing Taiwan’s first extradition case involving fraud.

 Director Bilski commended Taiwan’s efforts in safeguarding democratic values and praised the transparency of its judicial system, as well as its strong commitment to protecting human rights. He also expressed support for continued judicial cooperation between the two sides in combating fraud-related crimes.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties exchanged souvenirs and took a group photo, marking the visit as cordial and successful.
