Strengthening Anti-Corruption Cooperation at APEC SOM1

From February 25 to 28, 2025, representatives from the Ministry of Justice attended the APEC First Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM1) to discuss transnational responses to emerging corruption crimes, focusing on asset recovery and international cooperation. Economies actively exchanged experiences and strengthened collaboration through networking.
Taiwan also engaged with the U.S., Chile, and South Korea on the recovery and valuation of virtual assets linked to corruption, sharing practical approaches and insights to enhance global anti-corruption efforts.
