The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) is the central authority for mutual legal assistance in criminal matters in Taiwan. The Department of International and Cross-Strait Legal Affairs with the MOJ (DICLA, MOJ) processes all formal requests for legal assistance in accordance with the Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Act (2018), treaties, agreements, arrangements, and other applicable laws.
