【Suicide Prevention Mental Hygiene Lecture】

The Kinmen Prison of the Corrections Department of the Ministry of Justice held a lecture on suicide prevention and mental health for inmates. This lecture was conducted by the psychological assistants of the prison and nursing department. The lecture was mainly divided into two parts: suicide prevention and mental health education. In part, the counselors gave lectures in an informative and interesting interactive way, supplemented by audio-visual media teaching materials from time to time, to increase the interest of the detainees in the lectures, and advocated that the detainees could also become members of the suicide prevention gatekeepers while in prison. One, and encourage the inmates to repent and improve, and hope that the inmates can return to society smoothly and start a new life again.
