Since April 2022, the government has announced that the new Taiwan epidemic prevention model of "severe mild to zero, and mild to effective management and control" has entered the new Taiwan epidemic prevention model. Because our school is a densely populated institution, in order to reduce the chance of infection and effectively manage and care for mildly ill patients, the school's De Building and the 2nd floor of Shude have been selected as home care and isolation areas. Home care isolation area, equipped with anti-epidemic disinfection doors, protective equipment (masks, gloves, protective clothing, N95), oxygen cylinders, sphygmomanometers, nursing observation records, each room has a bathroom and is equipped with a forehead thermometer, blood oxygen machine .
If students of our school have suspected symptoms, they will be notified and treated by video link after being diagnosed by rapid screening conducted by the medical staff on campus, and sent to the special area for care and isolation. The special area is mainly based on video monitoring, supplemented by communication equipment, which is convenient for students to respond to discomfort and provide timely assistance and response. Students need to measure their body temperature and blood oxygen value every day and report it, and the management staff of the special area will record and observe. The daily meals are delivered by the management staff to observe whether there is any abnormality in the students' condition. During the quarantine period, if there is a need for medical treatment, we will conduct diagnosis and treatment with the doctor by video, so as to maintain uninterrupted medical treatment. The medical staff will contact the special area on time to understand the health status of the students, and conduct visits and care of the students from time to time to assist the students with related medical needs. After the quarantine period expires, the medical staff will conduct a quick screening, and only those who are negative can be released from isolation and return to work, so as to ensure the health of the confirmed students and the health and safety of other students. In addition to ensuring the medical care needs of confirmed students, rapid screening and isolation observation are also carried out for close contacts of the class to maintain the health and safety of teachers and students on campus.
